" I am waking up in the morning and choosing how I will respond to the day and to incidents which occur. I am standing back from an incident before I respond to it. I am rephrasing responses in my mind - to become more optimistic. It's working! Not just in the workplace - but life is a happier place!"
- Marie Faith-Allen, Area Manager, Community Probation Services

Mental Toughness and Resilience is the ability to grow and thrive in the face of challenges, and to bounce back swiftly from adversities and setbacks. Foresight’s coaching and learning & development programmes are all about enabling you to perform at your optimal level in all manner of circumstances and situations. Foresight specialises in public workshops, custom-designed in-house programmes and one-on-one coaching. We hold the regional licence for the optimism how to start off writing a narrative essay and resilience assessment tool developed by Martin Seligman, the founder of positive psychology and have an ongoing relationship with Marty’s consulting firm, Foresight Inc in the United States. We also use the tools of EQ mapping and assessment, stress mapping and assessment, and DISC behavioural motivation assessment.
How it helps you: For companies, our tools and systems genuinely identify top performers and turn around under-achievers. For individuals, our resilience, optimism and mental toughness training can turn around lives, helping you master your stress, achieve more, and gain more enjoyment from your achievements.

Professor Martin Seligman, named by the Review of General Psychology as the 13th most cited psychologist of the 20th Century, turned psychology on its head by focusing on what makes us well, rather than what makes us unwell.
More than 1000 studies using Professor Seligman’s work prove that people with an optimistic attitude perform better in most aspects of life, including academic achievement, sales productivity, emotional resilience, immune system strength and even cancer survival.Read More
