The Mental Toughness and Resilience Training Course Pre-work Webpages
As a registered participant on a course there are some preliminaries to be completed to ensure the maximum value is gained from the course. There are two more stages to this, and the information on all stages is here on the Foresight website.
About Course Preparation Stage 2:
“Optimism”, as defined by Dr. Martin E.P. Seligman Ph.D., is a critical factor in mental toughness and resilience. This lies at the heart of the course. Knowing your own profile, and discussion on the range of profiles within the class, is essential to getting the most value from the course learning.
To complete the diagnostic assessment that is used to compile your optimism i.e. mental toughness and resilience profile, please follow the instructions below. This will take around 15 minutes. The diagnostic assessment is known as the Seligman Attributional Style Questionnaire (SASQ). Click “Send Test” when you are satisfied with your answers.
After you click on “Send Test” the diagnostic assessment page will open for a few moments, and then you will be redirected to the stage 3 pre-reading webpage.
Please complete this ASAP, and no later than the date and time specified in the email you received with this link.
- If you complete the diagnostic assessment but do not have time to do the pre-reading immediately, bookmark the page that opens after the questionnaire is submitted. The stage 3 webpage is a hidden page only accessible via the diagnostic assessment, and bookmarking it will enable you to go back to the pre-reading at your convenience.
- Read the instructions carefully and complete the diagnostic assessment. You must answer all the questions.
- If there are any issues in completing the diagnostic assessment please call me …
